Abstract

After reading this book, I have come to appreciate the Buddhist principles, life guidance, and self-protective wisdom that are essential for householders. The language used in the book leans slightly toward the traditional or classical style, which may seem somewhat archaic, but overall, it proves beneficial to readers. Whether one chooses to apply its teachings is a personal matter. However, learning for the sake of understanding is always worthwhile?especially when we consider that to ?know others and know oneself is to win a hundred battles.? Knowledge is never a burden; it is an asset.

Therefore, I would like to recommend this book, Inner and Outer Household, by Col. Pin Muttukarn, as a valuable resource for future generations. Although I personally encountered this book rather late, reading it allowed me to feel the classic tone and emotional depth of the author?s writing?as if I had been transported to a time before modernity had fully taken hold. Through reading, we not only acquire knowledge but also experience the sentiments embedded in language and thought. This gives the book a profound sense of value. I was deeply impressed, and I wholeheartedly recommend this work to interested readers.
